Submissions Opening on October 29th, 2013.
The 5th annual Downtown Film Festival Los Angeles will be held July 12-18, 2013, and filmmakers are invited to submit their films for screening consideration.
Downtown Film Festival L.A. (DFFLA) is the only film festival located in the historic core of the Entertainment Capital of the World. As in previous editions, the 2013 festival will utilize a variety of contemporary, vintage and alternative venues to showcase a wide range of independent cinema — narrative and documentary features and short films — from around the world. (Films are not limited to Los Angeles filmmakers.)
The final submission deadline is April 1st, 2013, however, filmmakers are encouraged to submit films now for early review and to enjoy discounts on submission fees.
