Best Documentary: American: The Bill Hicks Story

Best Narrative Feature: The Prospects

Best Short Film: Sissy

Best Cinematography: William Never Married

Best New Filmmakers: Brian McGuire and Bret Roberts

Best of the American-Latino Film Series: Gordita

Best Downtown L.A. Film: Wilshire Express

The Fox Studio Diversity Award: Yours Truly, Miss Chinatown

Best Science Fiction: The Man Who Knew How To Fly

Best Green Film: Sick Amour

Best Experimental: Yellow Plastic Raygun

Best “Urban Fun & Games”: The Violinist

Best Soundtrack: So Long, Lonesome
