Felipe Valenzuela, 30 years old, still lives at home with his Mexican-American family: father, mother, sister, two brothers, sister-in-law, and grandmother. One morning, he finds out his parents are getting a divorce, his sister is going to grad school, and his younger brother is gay. Another crisis strikes: he’s about to lose his job, too. Then, at a club, accompanied by his loser friends, Felipe bumps into a lovely young woman, Jill, who seems too good to be true. Can Felipe turn his life around with Jill’s help, or is his life doomed?
